Just before the summer holidays, the city center of Kaiserslautern is all about the Hornbach City Run. Around 1,000 runners of all ages will sweep over the 1 km loop in the pedestrian zone, which must be completed once or multiple times depending on the age group. The competitions include distances ranging from 450 meters to 5 kilometers, with a special 450-meter course for kindergarten children. Every pre-registered participant will receive a T-shirt and a medal, while regional and international elite runners will compete in invitation races for the best times.
